Grant Writing |

Unlike many individual grant writers and organizations providing grant writing and related services, our focus is on selling your request to prospective grant makers in the best possible light. It has been said that “Life is Sales”. Many do not understand this concept and therefore fail in attempting to achieve their desired goals. Do not underestimate the value of sales for your project. At its core, sales is the persuasive use of information to influence and ultimately achieve the desired goal. If you don’t understand how to sell your project to a grant maker, you should pick up your toys and go home ... now. OR ... contact us to see if your project is viable in the grant making community and begin a discussion as to whether or not our services may be of value to you and your organization. At the core of the effort to present a successful proposal to a grant maker is the demonstration of the request in terms a decision maker (or “makers”) can relate to ... i.e.: sales ability. It is very sophisticated selling, but selling none the less. We have a track record in sales which is superior. Using our superior sales skills and armed with the proper information, knowledge and in-depth understanding of your requirements, we have an excellent chance to get your project accepted and funded. We cannot guarantee success, since we have no control over the final decision making process. However, we can employ techniques that others may not utilize or be aware of. Here are some examples: · Martin spent six years selling satellite programming over the phone. Definitely one of the toughest jobs around. He was able to paint verbal pictures of what a customer would receive and help them determine what services were best for them. He was recognized for his excellent sales record and ability to serve customers by meeting their specific needs. These same skills will be applied to your project.
¨ The eight years experience Martin gained from operating his own successful small retail business also honed his ability to paint verbal and written images. This makes the final decision easier to understand and act upon, while giving the decision maker the confidence the correct choice is being made.
Martin has been successful in the sales positions he has held and has found success comes from finding a common ground which both sides can agree on to arrive at a satisfactory conclusion.
