Fees

The fee for preparing a grant proposal on your behalf is $75.00 per hour plus expenses. Most projects take between 20 and 60 hours to complete, averaging between 20 and 40 hours in most cases.

Fees for other projects such as Presentations, Consulting and similar work are also billed at $75.00 per hour.

A $750.00, non-refundable deposit is required to begin a project. The funds are applied toward billable time.

Costs can be lessened if previous work or assistance can be provided such as:

· Relevant research about the subject has been recently performed.

· Research assistance is provided by your organization for subjects we may assign.

· All the required documentation ready to be included in a proposal.

· The organization has its organizational structure and financial information ready for a potential audit.

These and a number of other things can be done to minimize the time we expend on your project as the development process moves forward. We will be happy to prepare a more specific estimate after discussing your project with you.

About Commissioned

or Percentage Payments

We do not work on a commission or percentage basis. Within the profession, it is considered unethical and downright bad business for all parties involved.

In some areas, such an arrangement may be illegal. Even if this is not the case in your situation, it is a highly perilous road to travel. If a grant maker discovers a percentage commission has been paid from the funds which have been appropriated for a specific project, the funds may be withdrawn and even spent funds may be demanded to be repaid.

Grant makers want and deserve to see all of the monies they contribute put toward the project they have approved. This is partly due to some state and federal regulations and IRS tax rulings, but it is mainly driven by the expectation that the money will be used only for the purposes given. We agree this is a reasonable request.

Fees must be paid from

some other account or source.

Also …

If a proposal we have  exclusively worked on is not accepted by a grant maker, we will credit up to $750.00  (but not to exceed the amount paid) toward the preparation and submission of the same project to a new grant making organization. (one time only)
